Hi, Wondering if anyone from the forum knows about Aladin Weather Forecast What rain intensity do the different colors on the forecast mean (below in the legend, yellow=1, dark green=50, emerald green=100). Is it probability or amount of rain or something else? Searched ARSO site and Google but found nothing. Meanwhile on hribi.net you always find some mountain lover with an answer even to the silliest question. ))) Thanks for help, Regards

Below in window "DATA DESCRIPTION", click and it writes: yellow-green shades are total precipitation (rain+snow) in mm/3h. So it's about amount. Regards!

Last days following weather forecast on Aladin - precip, cloudiness (density etc). Must say, quite reliable forecasts that fulfill almost to the hour exactly. Recommend to all hikers! Regards Heinz!

heinz, you're mixing up "reliable" and "accurate" While forecasts are really detailed, I've noticed they change a lot in the last three days, and it has happened that rain was forecast all over Slo. (Aladin), then the sun shone.. But it's surely a great thing and I always check it if I'm going somewhere.

I have rather bad experiences with Aladin too. Rarely predicts exactly right.
