Alpina Anapurna shoes, Black Diamond crampons picture So about 5 times I had to fix them on Dobrča and back. If I look at the picture, it's a design flaw, as the tightening strap actually pulls the 'heel cup' out of the heel bed. When I have it fitted at home, the crampons are 'set in concrete'; I can't figure out how to remove them. When I checked on the terrain, I noticed the whole 'heel cup' had shifted down to point A, but it was still firm on the boot until the moment the crampon stayed behind me. I'm thinking about blocking something where point B points, before tightening, or deepening the heel notch on the boot. Other alpine models have that notch definitely deeper. Suggestions, tested solutions?

The button on top is for fine size adjustment. Try that. And tie the strap only around the boot, not over the first part - this way the crampon at least can't fall down.
