Lack of snow was the reason for the long drive to neighboring Austria starting from Innerkrems, where we immediately put on skis and climbed up the snowy road to the Baerengrubenalm pasture and continued on the sunny side to the summit of 2292 m high Baerenaunock. We skied down the frozen and partially icy slope, below through melting snow to the pasture and along the road with some shortcuts to the starting point.
