A few photos from yesterday's excursion to Zaplaški hrib aka Bajturn. The trails around the peak were quite muddy yesterday.
Regards, Tadej

Hello!

For paths to this summit from ''Most čez Dušico'' and ''Okrog Lazar'' I'm interested:

- is the path currently decently marked and does it go by hribi.net info (descs, photos) without issues?

- given some ''visits'' to farms along the way: any negative experiences with unleashed dangerous dogs?

Thanks for help.

On Sunday before the weather worsened I did a nice loop from Veliki Gaber past Žubina, Dolnji Vrh and Zagrič to Bajturn aka Zaplaški hrib. Then to Zaplaza and return loop through meadows and forest paths, some asphalt, past Veliki Videm and Šentlovrenc to Veliki Gaber.

Walked 17 km and made over 500 m ascent. Surprisingly Dolenjska is quite "wrinkled".

Path through grain fields and flowering grass very nice this season. Discovered Bajturn by chance. No views from top but nice wooden signs with encouraging texts nearby.

Described loop not specially marked, sections part of various thematic paths. We used Google Maps and got by without problems. nasmeh
