Yesterday we ascended from the quarry in Grahovše to Bela peč. We went up to the summit past Pavšel, descended past the homestead at Tič. From the place where we left the plowed road to Zgornja Konjščica we walked on solid snow, higher up there were tracks of a touring skier.
I advise against ascent to the summit without skis or snowshoes.

Today Sašo and I went up to Belo peč, sunshine, rocks, nice firs, prep for climbing routes in full swing... nasmeh

Our guide has a good assistant, that's why such a super chosen tour. On Sunday 19 of us gathered, visited Bela peč. There are really many such cliffs, some thought we're going to Debelo peč, others to Črno peč, obviously at least two Beli peči. So we drove past Tržič, direction Dovžanova gorge, Lom, to Potarje village. Past farm PR TIČ, to Spodnja and Zgornja Konjščica. Short break at pasture for coffee and sour milk. Then easily to Bela peč, total 600m elevation gain. Nice viewpoint to Ženiklovec (Veliki Javornik) we visited in April. Ahead also north side of Storžič, view to Psice ridge, Polana and Tolsti vrh, direction Košuta to Kofce. Wonderful discovering these peaks otherwise hidden behind Storžič. Returned past Zdravc and farm PR REKAR to Grahovše. Nice loop tour, new for most. On return saw the steep climbing part of Bela peč. Interesting tour choice, shows how long no post about Bela peč...

Grahovše-Pl.Spodnja Konjščica-Pl.Zgornja Konjščica-Bela peč-Pl.Javornik-Javorniški preval- Dom pod Storžičem-footpath over Senožeti-Grahovše

This is how our yesterday's route went, to Javornik pasture unknown to both, from there a bit more familiar, then beautiful path over Senožeti from Dom pod Storžičem, me yesterday first time too. Through such beautiful adorned world goes this path, views back to Storžič magnificent too. Just the viewpoint at Bela peč thrilled us both, also the path just below it from which we stared at vertical white walls for climbers.
Konjščica pastures thrilled too, read about them long ago but came yesterday. Chamois below them fully surprised us. Didn't expect them there at all.

From summit log at Bela peč can judge visits not so rare. But we met no visitor on whole wide loop route, only tracks probably from day before. Only one disappointment whole day: walking very muddy recently driven path by tractors or trucks from pl.Javornik direction almost to Dom pod Storžičem.

Ločanka, wonderful loop nasmeh

Years ago I was several times in those areas and Bela peč with surroundings was really dear to my heart due to solitude and beauty. It is time for a revisit ... You reminded me of it!

sAleska, we're not fast hikers because the path and everything along it are as important as the goal. We admire trees, rocks, animals (if any), take photos.... So almost 7 hours. Maybe someone would need half less for the whole loop, I don't know, yeah nasmeh

At the starting point by the quarry parking is 3 € for 24 h only via EasyPark.
The whole path is normally passable, little snow, no one anywhere, views beautiful. mežikanje
