Did you go to Vršič above Beli potok from the Skočniki, or did you go back to the junction at Jesenje and from there to the bivouac? Because there is a direct connection from BP to Rutarski vršič and from planina Zapreta to the saddle before Vršič too... Nice spots under Kukova, right?

My tour was as follows. I left the car at the parking lot in Gozd M., along the marked path to bivouac Za Akom, returned to the hiking trail and at rock PP headed to Rutarski Vršič. I returned on another path, past Skočniki and not on the entire described path which is on hribi.net but on another pathless route. In the valley I then returned on the left side of Sava Dolinka, at the end across it and after a couple of minutes arrived at the car.
On the left side of Skočniki1
Further from the hunting hut towards EAST, along, right before the gully, I turn back because it is not in the plan.2
in the valley on the left side of Sava Dolinka3
how across this, water is approx. 30 cm4
a bit higher, hunters have a passage.5

So you returned past Stiriofobija along the bed of Beli potok and not along the hunting path?

Problem is already the "left" and "right" side of the watercourse.

In my opinion, there was just no "climbing" anywhere. That real path goes under Rutarski Vršič on the western side of Beli potok (if I'm not mistaken), I was on the eastern side of Beli potok, it can be wild without thinking, I also went over an extensive snow patch in the gully. Actually, lower down there appeared barriers or whatever it's called.
they appear lower1
higher, after recent floods the world is different.2

Thanks but still wild terrain, you can quickly end up on the edge of a precipice, the Skočniki are magnificent, deep views.

Last Tuesday we headed towards Beli Potok from the rest area by the railway bridge, the path above the left bank through the forest is well trodden and easy to follow even without frequent cairns. The first steep section lasts a good half hour, and as a reward at its end there's a bench with a view of Visoki (Kurji) peak. From there it's less than an hour of pleasant shady walking to the Skočniki gorges below Maces, below the hunting hut on the other side of the scree a cold spring indicates the direction to even nicer waterfalls.
We wanted to make a loop - under Vršič past Planina Zaprete to Jasenja (path branches left soon below Skočniki; signpost), then from the lower Martuljek waterfall along the right bank of Sava to the start - but our planned snack at Pri Ingotu unfortunately fell through due to poor trail visibility below Glava; we turned back and after crossing Planina Zaprete later descended along (locally quite steep) logging trail to the path we ascended; it leads to the aforementioned bench. But the path was shorter than planned nasmeh
Visiting the Skočniki is really a nice experience, access to the waterfalls below the hut requires caution.

Nice group of hikers went under the Martuljek peaks yesterday. First to see the Skočniki, which are hidden in the gorge and forest. Anyone here for the first time would probably miss them, so thanks to the guide for revealing nature's secret. The waterfalls are really beautiful, but caution is needed.
The second hike we started in Martuljek, from where we went up the Martuljek stream valley towards the namesake waterfalls. First we reach the first (lower) waterfall, then a break at Ingot's hut, after which there's still a good half hour of walking to the second waterfall. This one is really majestic. But to get to it, some climbing on the secured path is needed.

From Lengarjev Rovt to Skočniki along a path that's no longer really a path. At the beginning it looks quite promising, recently it was newly cleared. But all good things end too soon, so this path also disappears or we lost the continuation. We searched left and right, found a path coming from nowhere and when it seems only easy walking ahead, the path vanishes. My feeling says we need to go more to the right and lo, in the middle of nothing, a salt lick. We descend to the scree under the waterfall, push through a short stretch of brushwood and look, a little path above us. Up it steeply and it brings us exactly to the viewpoint under the Skočniki.
Both are correct, they will soon merge1
