On Saturday early in the morning, we hikers and female hikers from PD Velenje set off on a trip to the Beneško-Slovenian Prealps. The range we visited is an extension of Kobariški Stol in the northern part of Beneška Slovenia. We drove in the direction of Jesenice-Trbiž-Predel-Bovec-border crossing Učja to the saddle Tam on the border/Passo Tanamea (872 m). From the saddle we climbed from the north along the marked path 711a to the mountain hut, renovated from a military facility and of partially open type, on the northern side of the ridge between Lanževica and Brinica/Brinizza (1468 m, 2 hours). Just under half an hour further is Sedlo Križ/Sella Križ (1540 m). The goal of the hike was in the village Viskorša/Monteaperta (615 m). On the return, we visited the church and the ethnographic museum in Bardo/Lusevera, where a part of the building and agricultural Beneško-Slovenian old-world heritage is preserved, and met the museum director Vilij Čern, who cares for preserving the Slovenian word (Terski dialect) in the Terska Valley.
