Our largest insurance company will again sponsor the renovation of one trail this year. Vote here.
As a path marker from PD Celje-Matica, I kindly ask you to vote for the trail Logarska dolina-Okrešelj-Kamniško sedlo, of course you can vote for any of the other proposals.
The trail from Logarska dolina to Okrešelj is extremely popular and crowded. Besides "real hikers" there are also lots of tourists who opt for the ascent to Okrešelj when visiting Logarska dolina, so it's essential the trail is safe for all visitors, including those less skilled in high mountain terrain. Last year two rockfalls badly damaged the trail, part of the trail past the Savinja spring was even washed away. Path markers with help from volunteers of other PDs and mountain rescuers ensured trail passability, but long-term renovation needs a comprehensive rehabilitation approach, where the PZS technical team will play a major role.
