If you're from Ljubljana you can start the tour even earlier somewhere, but we started it in Laze village and parked cars at the parking by the railway station. We continue on the local road along the railway to Jevnica, where we follow signs for Golišče and Janče. At the end of Jevnica valley we choose the steepest way to Golišče, which after cca 4 km of tough climb brings us to the saddle behind the village, at EKO-island we turn right to the middle side gravel road (no sign!), to Mala Štanga, from there back to main road at Velika Štanga, through which long descent to the valley follows, continuing it all the way to Šmartno pri Litiji. Here we head for Bogenšperk and past the castle to the saddle, where we take the branch to Javorje village. Some more ascent follows, sticking to main asphalt road, which at village end brings us to former elementary school, where we take gravel path to Obolno. Nicer part of tour follows on forest road to Debeče hamlet, when we reach bigger crossroads with partisan monument, we go straight (left and right roads to valley), local signs help too (Viridina path). Steepest ascent of the tour to Planina hamlet follows, then a bit down and up to Obolno village. Continue past farm tourism towards Trebeljevo, few km descent on forest path follows, until out of forest to Trebeljevo-Stična road. There turn right to Trebeljevo, again few km descent, until to main road Besnica-Šmartno, where choose direction for short ascent to Prežganje, then via Volavlje village to Janče. This part of path and roads is more known to cyclists, for return to start can choose harder descent directly to Laze or easier via Zgornja Jevnica to Jevnica.
Described tour has cca 69 km and total 1800 m elevation gain, takes cca 5 hours.
