In the village Vrata, just before turning left back onto the motorway, I turn right and cross the railway track, first on the asphalt road and then left on the gravel road, I follow the signs until the path turns right onto the cart track. From here it's a good hour to the summit, the path is well marked and normally passable. From the top I look towards Mrkopalj, I stamp the HPO booklet, on the descent I greet the gentleman managing the Bitorajka shelter once more, descend to the car and thus conclude exploring the HPO checkpoints in Gorski Kotar.
