Blekova planina-Vošca

After a long time, back a bit to Gorenjska. Start from Trbiž on the bike path to Podkoren, there direction Korensko sedlo, a bit before the pass turn right onto gravel road, where I head to Blekova planina. Gravel road to Blekova planina is 11 km and in very good condition. Pleasure to ride on such gravel. On the planina nice views of our Julijce, Dobrac and whole Beljak. From there descend a bit lower and go right on cart track, which after about 1 km ends and continues only as trail. Here had to carry the bike until back on path, then short descent and again on foot some 100 m elevation, where beautiful view of Vošca and hills opens. Views from there really unforgettable. Ride to ruins, short break and then path to Jureževa planina, where reach path and back to Podkoren and bike path to Trbiž.

Three foggy trips in last week. Yesterday from Srednji vrh below Blekova planina too. Track to forest road junction really fine but continues to Trupejevo poldnevo direction, west untrodden. Continued only to right turnoff to planina, turned there due to fallen trees. Less snow than expected, not yet settled, starts bit below Hudimi hlevi.
Happy trails in 2014 too.

...Blekova planina - Vošca.... Just the trip to Blekova planina is nice, suitable for families too. Path interesting, not too steep and at Blekova very nice. Also start to Trupi or Vošca. Park at Sr. vrh, as road to Jureževa farm under repair. nasmeh

In the embrace of autumn to Blekova planina...

Deciduous trees are already autumn-colored. Larches are still green, only yellowing along the path. Just missing sunshine to gild everything and nature will be beautiful. nasmeh

From the water reservoir above Hlebanjeva homestead to the hunting hut, the path is alternately bare and icy. Further from the hut there is snow. At the Železnica junction it is trodden towards Trupej. Towards Blekova, yesterday only tracks of forest dwellers. Due to fog I didn't continue and turned back. nasmeh
