Hi
As you know, yesterday two mountaineers or climbers were buried by an avalanche in Bobnar's Gully. When I was returning from Kokrško sedlo at 7:37, I saw two mountaineers entering the mentioned gully. I hope they are not exactly those two I photographed. Condolences to the families.

Yesterday I was also at this end when I went to Kamniško sedlo. When did this accident happen? Because yesterday you could hear and see lots of avalanches; when we stood at the hut, there was a drumming sound.

I went Saturday morning to Kamniško sedlo. Since I forgot sunglasses (yes, that can be a reason too), I only got to the Pastirji hut and enjoyed the sun there for 30 minutes and returned to the valley. During that time, at least 10 snow avalanches released under Brana. Under Brana I saw two groups of hikers who despite that were climbing towards Brana. All who passed by (me included) agreed that those hikers were taking too much risk, since avalanches kept releasing left and right of them.
At 10:41 I took a photo of four hikers climbing towards Brana. So there's a good chance that now exactly two of those four are missing. I'd attach the photo to this message, but the program doesn't allow it.

Well then those weren't those four hikers. But these (my) four were as said extremely unwise since they persisted in climbing although avalanches were releasing left and right of them.

Hi, yesterday I went to Grintovec and it was fantastic, only in the afternoon the snow was quite soft. I only learned about the accident this afternoon. I also heard quite some drumming in the walls. I join pikec1 too. My condolences.

This gully to Kokrško sedlo gets more 'squeezed' between walls towards the top and with this thaw something can quickly fall down, snow or rocks, so use your brains.

On Brana there was another accident yesterday in the same gully...one Croat broke his femur in the fall. While they were rescuing him those four were climbing past, of which now 2 are missing.
My condolences to the families too.

On Saturday I was also in the walls of Brana, specifically in Bosova gully. Already around 8.30 the conditions in the gully were bad. I intended to go to the top of Brana but turned around a bit above the saddle for Butaro and descended back via Bosova. Cracks in the snow a bit above the saddle deterred me from continuing. The descent was quite demanding mainly because of ice buildup that I had to chip off every 15, 20 m. During descent I met a trio heading up the route. When I was removing crampons and harness on the avalanche deposit under Brana around 10.20 there was a loud crack and an avalanche came down one of the gullies.

Mosovnik, possibly it was around that time, yeah. I was just at the end of the gully on the descent.
