Bodoljski Circuit

Not only Puštalski krog, also Bodoljski krog exists, if we imagine it that waynasmeh. We imagine everything first and if we connect it into one tour, it is a circuit. Circuit of peaks, churches and farms above Bodoljska grapa, which connects people and which flows into Poljanska Sora in Bodovlje. Start in Zminc or in Bodovlje, doesn't matter where, at the end you have to get to the carnasmeh.

We did this circuit yesterday, not yet knowing if it would succeed or not. To Sveti Peter hrib we already knew the path from the previous day, further it was planned as path finding. On the path to the saddle, where you can head towards Črni vrh, there are no markers.
From Sv. Peter hrib onwards through a beautiful birch grove to Bukovšek farm, a few words with the owner and continuation past Turistična kmetija Jamnik, then past abandoned Krmelj farm, where I just couldn't stop marveling at the interesting heritage. Then past hunting hut on Zavrhu and Završnik farm below Polhovec to Presečnik farm. Crossing it and then struggling along the ridge over Kopačev vrh to Polančev vrh, where it was a pleasant spot for rest. Continuation of the circuit then Sv. Ožbolt - Sv. Andrej and descent to Bodovlje.

Nice circuit, to which you can add Polhovec 948 m, which has a logbook and regular visitors, and Planina and more could be found. Or take something away. As you wishnasmeh.

Actually, I didn't think much about repeating this loop. Then it struck me in a moment. We need to go somewhere where we can admire autumn nature, its colors and peace. Just the right trip for this autumn fairy tale, and it's in our municipality. For this autumn admiration, no need for other municipalities, everything at hand, all nearby.

Like in spring, also this time passing several farms, past two churches, ascent over Sv.Peter hill, Polančev vrh, sv.Ožbolt, we added Planina hill, which offered itself right at crossing sv.Andrej.
Wonderful loop that in this time invites with softly bedded paths, gilded leaves in views and along paths, and that the whole way. If the weather cooperates like it was on Saturday, the fairy tale is really perfect. Pity that the time of fairy tales passes quickly. And this one will too.

Yesterday we Četrkovci (retirees) - section PD Škofja Loka conquered our area. Even with regular bus we drove to village Bodovlje. Our guides know all these unmarked paths around Škofja Loka hills well. Only last part to Sv. Ožbolt marked. Soon from Bodovlje turn into forest on unmarked trails. Somehow reach Hrib Sv.Petra where beautiful chapel. Continue on unmarked trails to hunter hut Zavrh. Somehow reach marked path to Sv. Ožbolt. Ended hike in village Sv.Andreja. Ordered bus picked us up and took to Škofja Loka. Weather nice-sunny, views over these hills with chapels excellent, even view to KSA peaks.
By public transport - regular bus to the village Bodovlje.1
Right away in Bodovlje we turn right onto the unmarked path.2
Through the forest.3

Higher on the path, the sun will already be shining.5
We came out of the forest.6
Hunters are always on the lookout.7
Church of St. Andrew - told by tulipan.8
I recognize Lubnik.9
In the distance we see the peaks of SKA.10
Storžič hides among the spruces in the middle - I haven't been up there this year yet.11
Past isolated farms.12
We finally reached Hrib Sv. Petra - there's a nice little church here.13
14
It's the Arhar Chapel.15
It even has a wishing bell.16
Nice interior.17
It's pleasant here.18
The first fire station.19
Let's go on.20
The village is also called Hrib Sv. Petra.21
The nice weather reveals these charming churches to us on these hills.22
We turn into the forest again on unmarked trails.23
We're already out of the forest.24
We reached the Zavrh hunter's hut.25
This hut fits right in here. The owner apparently died and it was brought here from the nearby farm, which is not abandoned, just nobody lives there.26
That's the farmstead.27
Back in the forest. Only locals know these paths.28
We have arrived in the village Sv. Ožbolt.29
From this signpost, the path to Sv. Ožbolt is marked.30
31
Past the homesteads.32
Interesting velbi above the house entrance.33
The house bears the date 1805.34
Here they have a whole herd of sheep.35
Our almost final goal appears - Sv. Ožbolt.36
We don't like asphalt.37
In front of the church.38

Obviously, at least three-quarters of the hikers were still up for one more gasilsko.40
Slightly tired partygoer on the way to a warm snack.41
Arrived at the log cabin in the settlement Sv. Andreja.42
Enclosure with deer.43
