This time walking, adapted to the little doggy who prefers to be carried. Along Besnica valley (the one near Ljubljana, not near Kranj...), to Šmartno pri Litiji and on to Bogenšperk Castle. Janez Vajkard Valvasor spent twenty wonderful years here, with two wives, 16 children. How genial he was, but sadly only lived 52 years. One idea is to hike Valvasor Path, 10 km, 3-4 hours. Another option from Obolno to Bogenšperk Castle, and more options, but need to hike them. Castle nicely arranged, as well as surroundings. Return towards Primskovo and Ivančna Gorica.
