4.08. 2026. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it on these paths. Because the three of us did not meet anyone. At Lake Rabelj there is summer hustle and bustle. Up there, however, it is peaceful. We took time to view the remains from those unfortunate war times. There are some abysses along the path. The path to the summit is marked. There is also a cable somewhere in the gully where the passage would be more difficult. First we went to Bavhica. Through some kind of window. Where the wind was pleasantly cooling. I do not remember walking to any peaks on so many steps that the soldiers carved back then. The world here is karstified. You have to be quite careful somewhere, because there are abysses along the path. We visited the speleological bivouac, which is unlocked and nicely arranged. On the Škrbina saddle under the škraplja there are signs with walking times. We visited Veliki Snežni vrh, for which you do not find many descriptions. Mainly with the help of navigation we walked the planned route. Beautiful places and paths. We will definitely return. The water in Lake Rabelj at the end of the tour is just right for refreshment. And you might randomly get some parking along the road, so you do not have to walk much. We walked about 10 km. 1000 meters of elevation gain. Just right for a sunny August day. nasmeh
