Hello! Tomorrow morning we're heading to Bohinj with the group for an evening gathering , but we'd like to make use of the day and head somewhere in the Bohinj surroundings, Pokljuka, etc. At Dom Na Komni (where we wanted to go) they say the path to the hut isn't trodden yet, we couldn't reach anyone at Lipanci, does anyone have a suggestion for a tour in this area, of course taking into account the current snow conditions? In the worst case we'll go for a walk around Pokljuka. Thanks and best regards!

After talking with the hut warden we decided to go to Blejska koča at Lipanci. lpe

Esedic! Did you visit the Bl. hut? I'm interested in where the road on Pokljuka is passable or plowed. Last time I read somewhere here that it was only to Kranjska Planina. Thanks for the answer!

Now the road is plowed to the monument Pri Rupah, Javornik plateau. With the new snowfall expected for the new year it will be different again.

So today it was: huge amounts of snow, lots of visitors, touring skiers, plowed road, a bit harder to pass, atmosphere generally romantic. To Blejska koča is OK at the moment. Further towards D. peč they went with snowshoes. Obviously no big panic regarding avalanches here either. So ski, snowshoes, crampons or one foot in front of the other..
