Today I ascended from the parking lot at Planinska Ravna (Šmihel above Mozirje) to the mentioned peak. Up I went via Severjeva path, down across Hleviška planina. On the path I saw a lot of grazing animals, mostly horses. On the return it's worth visiting the ice cave and the alpine garden (entrance fee for the latter is 2€, I think they start collecting around 10 o'clock). LP Tadej

I too was with friends on Golte a few days ago. We did a circular path around Golte. The path is pleasant and easy, well marked and intended also for families with children. We admired the horses and other livestock, only unfortunately I ran out of batteries and made only a few shots. We started the path where the macadam road begins. Nice morning outing.

A bit of climbing and lots of walking in circles on the Golte plateau. Unfortunately no luck with the weather - there was fog so couldn't see far. I missed the cows too - already taken to "warmer places".
