Yesterday 08.03.2011 with Janez we made an ascent to Brana from the north side, and descended via Bosova Grapa. On the tour there was everything: wet and hard snow, ice, crampons and all seven dry jumps in Bosova Grapa.

Is the road to Jermanco drivable, or do you have to go to the saddle right from the foot in K. Bistrica?

The road is snowy and icy from the junction for the cableway to K. saddle onwards.

In Bosova there is really complete lack of snow. This time I first encountered more than two (2) snowless jumps.
Highly recommend at least 30 m of rope and some technique.

Bosova Grapa mostly dry as well as ridge ahead. Descent from Kaptana at abseil dry on other side towards Kam. saddle snowy. Ideal conditions over roof ahead to Brana likewise descent to Kotliče. Bottomless barrel flooded - bypassed it via left gully (shady side) to Turska gora and then SW gully to top of Kranjska Rinka. Snow despite heat surprisingly good - ideal. Descent over Žmavčarje at open scree dry.
