Sunday 2.1.2022 (bike trip)
Warm and sunny weather directed me again to Primorska. The starting point was in Markovščina, from where I rode through Ritomeče, Brezovo Brdo, Tatre and Mrše to Artviže, where at the church of Saint Socerb above the village I had today's peak. From the highest point of the Brkini I had great views, panorama par excellence. There followed a descent through Gradiščica to the church of the Holy Spirit; a bit further, I turned left onto a forest road. I chose this so as not to return on the main road leading towards Croatia, where there was quite some traffic. From the forest road I turned onto a dirt road and soon reached asphalt again; past Slivje to Markovščina it was not far anymore. Conditions on roads, dirt roads and meadows excellent, weather conditions phenomenal, the trip overall unforgettable
