The forecast is bad and I can't convince anyone to go to the mountains. I'm left with a walk to the nearby hills. I drive to Kasez and then a short walk to the mountain hut on Brnica.
The forecast is accurate again (as expected it's bad) and it sprinkles a bit on me when leaving home and on the way back. But that's still better than sitting at home.

Noticed that Brnica has somewhat  "quietened" - dropped to the fifth page. Today Sunday 08.03.2015 activity towards Brnica. Elegantly and very simply from Celje/Lisce along Savinja upstream from Celje. Decision for something a bit more than simple. Start Celje/Breg and via Miklavški hrib and Hom above Celje. Undulating path, quite pronounced and excellent training for say Svečinska, Šentiljska,....Non-stop up and down, up and down...Today exactly there and back via Žerdonerjeva path to Ojsteršek junction. Continuation also very pleasant somewhere above Košnica, Liboje along marked hiking path, well traceable. At Brnica turnaround and return same way. Some addition with descent/ascent towards Liboje.
Paths already distinctly dry today, sunny weather, north/east wind pleasantly cooling and deeper in the forest still felt some night 5.6 minus...
Met quite some recreation or path seekers but they stuck to narrower area of Miklavški hrib, Hom or Brnica...Some kilometers, especially elevation that due to undulating terrain despite low altitude nicely accumulates, Yes, it was pleasant again above the right bank of Savinja...

Bravo. Nice that someone remembered Brnica too.
Still Bukovica, Hom, Gozdnik, Šmohor, Kamnik, .... remain
