Brunk - Leskovec in Podboršt

It was hard to resist the invitation from the guide from Ptuj to a completely unknown place in the Posavje hills. On Saturday we visited the peaks above Radeče for the first time, a section of the Sevnica mountain trail. Ascent along a forest path to Brunk, a small village with only seven residents, friendly lady Duška. She explained everything to us about the church of the Holy Three Kings, built in 1520, chapel three years earlier. The path is easy, partially snowy. We walked part on the Krek path, continued to Leskovec in Podboršt. We were enchanted by the wonderful views from Kum, Kopitnik, Veliki Kozji to Lisca and Bohor. A pleasant host told us that you can even see the lights to Zagreb, of course Sljeme..Lady Duška bakes excellent crackling bread, thanks for the excellent tea, mulled wine and to son Tonček for the nice melodies. We returned to Radeče along the marked mountain path.
