Bukov vrh 832m

Today we set off from the village of Hotovlja to Bukov vrh (Polhograjsko hribovje). In the lower part there was fog, above which we emerged a few minutes below the summit. But even above the fog it wasn't sunny as clouds were already pulling in from the west. Despite that, there was a nice view of Blegoš, Koprivnik, Mladi vrh, Stari vrh and Lubnik. In the distance, the Kamniško Savinjske Alpe were barely visible.

I just got back from Bukov vrh. Nice, short, somewhat steep path in places. Suitable trip if you don't have much time. I spent 3 hours with driving and hiking. Maybe a bit more from Ljubljana, I'm from Škofja Loka. Petranasmeh

Since it was sunny, I said let's go to the hills - dice fell on Bukov vrh mežikanje It was a very good hike, great sunny weather (only very windy on top), super view.. Turco though somewhat 'spoiled' by larger loose dog on farm - below fenced deer area.. barked tirelessly and I needed almost 5min to pluck up courage and pass. jezen Well, not nice of the owner.. Let pictures speak! cool

Ascent starts behind bridge (signs) past houses in Hotovlja; first path through forest, then follow road a while (soon possible to turn to viewpoint above village, junction marked), avoid bends via shortcuts - up to crossroads with two crosses. Then follow path a while, then again road by pastures past group of houses and briefly into forest again, at exit target already visible.
Along path several views to Blegoš and surrounding hills, on top views expand all around, only south blocked by slightly higher Polhograjski hills.
Short and pleasant trip.
Obviously we parked in front of the home of the Hotovlje gnome. It even has its own mailbox :-)1
