I'm interested in more information about camping in the mountains, is it even allowed everywhere or what's the deal with that? For example, next to Krn Lake, can you pitch a tent overnight without a problem? I'd like to go one day to Krn Lake + surroundings, pitch a tent somewhere by the lake, sleep overnight and the next morning also to Krn. Probably the biggest problem is animals that can approach the tent at night?

Nowhere or only in certain mountains?

Under a spruce you throw your sleeping bag somewhere around the corner and it's done. And you don't hang that on the big bell.

Great, that interested me, yeah. Thanks for the info. Regarding the bivy bag, also a good idea, but I prefer sleeping in the mountains under a tent more, because it's probably a very interesting experience, especially now with such nice weather - that's why I was interested in it informationally.

First of all, avoid the vicinity of huts. And excessive posting of your doings on various social networks, because you might get mail with not so nice greetings. And they say now in the Bovec area they are stepping up checks on "wild" camping and overnighting outside designated places.

No, I won't, just curious. But it would be a top location for camping next to Krn Lake and also elsewhere. Otherwise thanks for the information.
