So. We marked it properly. The 90th anniversary of Prohibition's start in America, that is. In the year of our Lord 1920, Americans decided on 16.01. that folks wouldn't get drunk just like that anymore and banned booze. And what does it have to do with us. Just one good reason to hit Snežnik on this "festive" Saturday. Trail from Sviščaki nicely packed down. For models. Sun caressed us in the forest's embrace, soul melting from… joy. Up to "drv". There though. Draft like in a chimney. Misty veil wrapped us right away, snow buildup plus icy wind made sure we'd stay prim on such a solemn day. Snow track carried us patiently to the slope below the hut where it thought better and we all agreed quick—if it weren't THAT day, we'd head back. But we plowed to the hut full of already quite a few stacked souls. Tea hot, sausages top-notch, schnapps smooth, slid down to the valley on its own. Day like invented. Festive.
