Celje Hut was very well visited today, as Easter Monday holiday attracted many visitors who came to bask in the warm sun; some continued the path towards Svetina, some of us headed to Grmada to ring the bell for luck, quite a few enjoyed right in front of the hut with their toddlers; wonderful, unforgettable day with some snapshots in pictures

I always end this hike with descent through Devil's Ravine. If you haven't yet, I recommend it!

Today we headed to Grmada above Celje, from there towards Celje Hut then along the ski slope to Tolsti vrh. Then circular back to starting point. Path is very nice, well marked, in short without peculiarities (just a bit windy), many visitors. Nice regards Janez.

This time for family ramble we chose a visit to Grmada and Celje Hut from Zagrad. Unfortunately couldn't choose the weather either, fog accompanied us the whole way. Path to Grmada was slippery, muddy, visibility still OK. Despite all we spent nice morning. We'll have to return when the sun shines jezen

Please for info on how the snow and path to Grmada from Zagrad are. Given the thaw, the path is probably quite muddy if there is no snow.

Given the start altitude (244 masl) and goal (650 masl), high chance you won't have any big snow drifts on the path... but you can collect ticks and bells too... I think, what some people ask...nasmeh

I think the question is not so dumb as the dumb reply given to it. Whoever doesn't find it worth replying correctly and concretely should write nothing.

Yeah, today is such a gray day that it gives some a bit of depression nasmeh Anyway all are idiots and critics but each is normal for themselves. Modern society, enjoy lonely hills if everyone already annoys you on the net, in cities or villages.

The path took me to Celje. As I had 3 hours, I went to the castle and also to Celje Grmada. The castle was all locked, so I could see it only from outside. The path to Grmada after night rain muddy and slippery.

I was in Celje, but for two hours I didn't know where to kill time, so I went again to Celjska Grmada. No time left even for Celjska Hut.

22.12.2020, From Zagrad to Grmada, descent to Celje Hut and then a jump to Tolsti vrh, descent down the ski slope past Celje Hut to the starting point.
Soon at the start the path leads along long steep stairs1

As a good connoisseur of Celje Hills, I recommend the Complete Celje Mountain Trail.

Another variant is (my very favorite and beautiful circular trail), through Hudičev graben to Srebotnik - Dom na Svetini - Tolsti vrh - Celjska Hut - Pečovniška Hut - Grmada above Celje - return through dry stream and across the forest to the starting point below Hudičev graben

As a connoisseur of Celje Hills I would choose one mežikanjecomplete route Šentjur - Rifnik - Resevna - Resje - Vrunčev dom - Ramanca/Dom na Svetini - Tolsti vrh - Celjska Hut - Vipota - Celje.
From Ramanca/Dom na Svetini you can add the settlement Svetina and Veliki vrh above Svetina and back for mežikanjesomething more...
Otherwise every route in Celje Hills is nasmehthe right one - it's spacious and diverse enough...Lp
