This was a tour that we did with my brother on 26-27 August. First day we had very changeable weather as it was cloudy and foggy for some time then sunny again and just right windy for hiking. We slept at Kokško sedlo. Let me tell you, both the caretaker and the cook are very friendly and always willing. Shame that there aren't more such people in our mountains. The whole path is extremely well marked, we met also a marker from PD Jezersko, who was just on rounds and checking markings and protections.
Second day we went over slopes and Sleme, which is very, very well protected (protection kit and helmet really come in handy), to Turska gora. Well that's a chapter for itself and you really need balls to descend through bottomless barrel and into Kotliči, as the path is very exposed and I don't recommend it to people without mountain experience and at least some climbing experience. Here the self-protection kit doesn't help you at least at certain places you can't help with it and have to rely on YOUR ASS and your hands.
All in all nice and very demanding high mountain tour, so let everyone think before heading on this path.

We also did the same path but climbed also to Skuto. Really nicely secured paths but still demanding for beginners and us gaining experience. Mostly unsuitable for self-belaying.

I'd like to go around Grintavec this August. We're not very experienced but already went e.g. via Tominske to Triglav. Thought of path from Okrešelj over Rinka peaks to Češka Koča (or Kranjska - as far as possible). Second day over Grintavec to Kokrško sedlo. Then third day somehow back to Okrešelj. Seems path via Podov and Skuto by your descriptions a bit too demanding. How about the lower one via Bivak Pavel Kemperl and Bivak pod Skuto then to Frischaufov Dom at Okrešelj? Grateful for any advice and practical tips as I don't know this range much. Hiked more in Julian Alps.
