Čez Komar, Kanjavčeve police, Vodnikov Vršac and Prehodavci

Parking lot in Zadnjica was quite full in the morning, so we were surprised when we didn't meet anyone on the whole route through Komar, Kanjavčeve ledges and Vodnikov Vršac.
The route over Komar is marked by a quite faded inscription on the rock. The path immediately takes you under steep cliffs dropping from Dolič and Kanjavec. It starts in a boulder-strewn gully, leads out, crosses from one to another etc... Especially in the lower, steeper section there's plenty of protection, so no problem. Higher up the path flattens a bit and joins the mulattiera heading to Dolič.
After over 100m of elevation, Mira Marko Debelak's path branches right, crossing the north face of Kanjavec. Right after the start some snow awaits. Follows a wonderful panoramic balcony where we had a snack. The sun warmed us for a while, but quickly went behind Kanjavec (whole route mostly in shade). We marveled the whole way at how ingeniously the path is routed. It constantly follows rock ledges, sometimes goes up or down to the next, and so on, all the way to the foot of Vodnikov Vršac. Towards the saddle below Vodnikov Vršac the rock ledges end.
We climbed to sunny Vodnikov Vršac. After the whole morning in shade we treated ourselves to a long break and took plenty of photos.
We descended to Zasavska hut at Prehodavci. They were just painting it and closing the season. Still we got beer 
We reluctantly headed to the valley. Went over Čez Dol saddle and back to Zadnjica valley.

Oooo, this is a very nice trip, I was there about 2 years ago, with the fact that on the way to Zadnjica I also jumped to Zadnjiški Ozebnik

Yesterday over Komar, where in the early morning there was already a lot of autumn dew, so quite slippery. Kanjavčeve ledges crowded as always, so nothing special. Oops, on one part the path is a bit washed away, can bypass above. On Vršac sunny and hot, real enjoyment People quite a few on mulattiera to Dolič and also from Prehodavci to valley, elsewhere on path quiet and silent.

On Monday, 19.7.2021, Nessy and I from Trenta (Lepoč) head to Vodnikov Vršac. The tour is looong, and quite some elevation gain too. A cold wind in strong gusts ensured it wasn't too hot. Plenty of company on the way, people friendly and smiling, no trace of corona
From Prehodavci to VV the path passes quickly, even the true summit is quickly reached. The path from the last lake to the saddle under Vršac was muddy, so it was slippery on the rocks; consequently, on descent I chose another route over scree and on to the lake, where playful marmots entertained us. We also saw chamois and ibex, the latter not disturbed during their morning siesta
Not many people at Prehodavci, but a German brought his cat up. Some have dogs, others cats, no big difference  When I thought I'd seen it all  The descent dragged on, lower down it got hot too, so refreshment in Soča was welcome.

I saw that cat scene too yeah, he carried it on his shoulder like a monkey, backpack was a cat carrier like for airplane.

Yeah those are special hike backpacks, just my cat would freak if I put it in something like that

Luka, yeah exactly like that. And on a leash, so always tied. Obviously so used to it she's totally well-behaved. Actually nothing bad for her You rarely see dogs above 2000m, cats not at all, so interesting for me

I once met a Slovene in front of the hut at Lipanca, carrying a quite large parrot on his shoulder

@ppegan, I just caught them a bit below the hut and watched what was happening. It crossed my mind that maybe they escaped from Egypt and always worship cats. Another cat was Siamese too

The path overall without peculiarities. The Čez Komar path section is newly pruned and cleared, chains are in good condition.
The ledges are nicely passable, still gravelly and properly secured.
View from Vršac magnificent, spring below Čez Dol saddle still impresses.
