Child in Logar Valley - where to?

Hello! I'm interested in what you would suggest for a short tour with a 2-year-old child? Preferably we come to some hut where we eat and drink something and return, can also be some lake ... thanks for the advice.

Drive to the entrance into Logar Valley, park and walk to the Plesnik guesthouse, http://www.plesnik.si/. Here you have enough options and space to spend a nice day with the child. Return on the same path.

With car over Podolševa to farm Bukovnik. Then just under an hour (marked on road 45 minutes) to hut on Grohat. Here are friendly caretakers, good food, livestock on pasture, and great feeling that you are in hills. If time left, you can walk a bit towards Raduha, nice path, stream... Go, you won't regret it. Have a nice time.

With car to end of valley, then on foot to Orlovo gnezdo and Rinka waterfall. In direct vicinity of hotel Plesnik check out Palenk waterfall.

Not exactly Logar Valley, but with 4 and 2 year olds we did some tours that I recommend. Smrekovec, Hut on Travnik, Urslja gora, Lodge on Menina pasture, Snežnik, hut at Ing under Martuljek waterfalls. Everywhere it was interesting for them, enough space for romping and enjoyment. Good luck.

If you want to reach some hut, in Logar Valley the only options are Okrešelj and Klemenča jama. Both not suitable for a two-year-old child. Unless you carry him. Of course a walk through the valley is suitable, as mentioned above. But not the traffic road, but the forest trail. Perhaps Robanov kot (walk to the pasture) or Matkov kot (from parking along scenic road to tourist farms) are really more suitable. Otherwise, if it's a suitable day (not too much sun, wind or cold), you can do an easier tour to a two-thousander with such a child (e.g. Raduha). Of course we mainly carry him. But that's more a tour for the parents' soul than for the child.

@ales1981, I recommend two "children's guides" that will help you and your wife and your child discover the natural beauties of Slovenia. Urška and Andrej Stritar: With children to the mountains - Family hikes Irena Cerar: Fairy tale paths of Slovenia - Family outings in nature

For experienced hikers even with more children, even younger than 2 years: sv.duh-potočka, sv.duh-olševa, logarska-klemenča jama, robanov kot, matkov kot, circular route in Logarska.... I walked all tours multiple times with 3 children from 1 year to 10 years. Huts are along all mentioned paths, but their opening status needs to be checked.
