Beautiful excursion above Ravanca, panoramic little peak from which there is a wonderful view of the entire valley and beyond. During the excursion it's worth a detour to the nearby Goslo alpine pasture. Roughly the first half of the path goes through pine forest and is quite steep, the second half more gently through beech forest. A few meters below the summit is a grassy terrace called "belvedere", from where the panorama is by far the best nasmeh

We escaped the cold and wind and enjoyed a lovely day on more of a little summit than a peak above Ravanca. Playing around on dry grasses with views to Kanin peaks, Skutnik ridge, Muzec, Kuc and more (quite a bit) did us good. The path starts above the cemetery in Ravanca, at the first junction left up instead of right down, then descends to the stream and there is the first signpost and blue marks. There is no trouble following the path further. The path through lower pine and higher beech forest is fairy-tale like, several brooks and waterfalls along the way, plenty of solitude and silence. Utterly splendid year-end for wanderings. We highly recommend nasmeh

Resia never disappoints, Cima Tulsti is a splendid little summit for all seasons. Pleasant trip, pleasant company nasmeh

https://tubojan.blogspot.com/2022/08/cimatulsti.html

P.S.
Due to recent fire the main road is closed, in Spodnji Pobič one needs to take gravel on the other side of Resia river, traffic is regulated by lights as "detour" sometimes too narrow for two cars.

Really fell in love with this scenic little summit above Ravanca, surely we haven't said the last word. "From behind" you can bike high under the peak if you have MTB and master it, right to the summit itself nasmeh

Lower half of the path through pine forest, also brook, higher beech, path without specials, right at top even a bit on snow if you step off path. Or it was possible, today is a new day velik nasmeh Views from top moisten the eye and caress the soul, especially a bit below summit on scenic grassy terrace called "belvedere" they are particularly lovely cool On return visit Goslo building, it's a sin not to go there, and a bit lower to Tostimarch waterfall (path unmarked, with princess once found by chance, we just turned wrong once and reached it). Nothing to it, Resia really is a fairy-tale land, see you soon mežikanje

If the Loška Koritnica valley is called the valley of a hundred waterfalls, today Tulsti was the peak of ten. Fairy-tale. It sparkled and glittered with brooks and falls, also pools and poollets were not missing. From the top, views up the valley and beyond, from the "belvedere" a bit lower down and towards Amarina, Zuc dal Bora group and more. The eye moistens from all the beauty, if lucky with the weather views reach farther than the eye can. Path without special features, jumping brooks required caution and some courage, of course skill, and plenty of newts so I had to watch that none crawled under my feet. Splendid trip, fifth up and down, looks like I have a subscription, and got along great with the cima velik nasmeh

Turbo recommended Cima Tulsti to me in 2018 when I was making a post on Ta lipi poti. But I saw that only today. Well, still his posts contributed to the decision for this peak. Only the water in streams and falls wasn't as much as in his posts, so there was no jumping over water.

We started the path in Ravanza village, but there are options also from the other valley e.g. Reklanice. We returned to the same starting point, though via a different path. We did that via Goslo pasture, which isn't marked, but descend to the marked gravel road, which via shortcuts brought us to the right place.
The path seemed nice overall, below a wonderful pine forest, later also beech. Most of all we liked the views opening from the path, they were initially a bit screened, later also open. What especially attracted me was the view to Monte Jovet and of course its whole ridge, which follows in the direction of Strme peči and Montaža. But most of all the view here to Puartate pass, former crossing now more lonely due to wilderness. Later in this direction also joins the view to Žrd, on the top the whole Kanin group. We also admired the Zuc dal Bora group, stars of the views were also Amarina and Monte Pisimoni (Počimunih in our way, but sounds weird).

During the whole tour we only regretted missing the "belvedere", where the view opens to almost the entire valley. Probably we were too eager to see the summit and went straight past it. So a debt remains, but it won't be hard for us to repay itnasmeh.

↗ Martinji Las, ↘ Ravanca (Saturday, 11.1.2025)

From Ravanca through Križace to Martinji Las, there the road ends, behind the last houses I dive into the old mule track. Soon after the brook turn left onto the steep ridge, and there I quickly gain height. Gradually the steepness eases, back on the splendid mule track that quickly brings me to the farm building Stallo Bucaviza. From there continue left on the mule track, it leads to the path to Tulsti from Ravanca, and after a few minutes sharp right, almost back, to a somewhat less visible trail. Soon I spot the green "marking" on a tree, these then appear here and there almost to the top. Soon steep again, a real knee-biter, when the steepness eases I reach grassy clearings dusted with snow. The summit is already intuited, views ever nicer. To some little saddle a bit higher I had to watch the path hidden in tall grasses or under snow dust, nothing special, then just a little more and I was already on the cima. Well, we were, probably more than ten of them, never anything like that. Short chat with one of them, then to the belvedere for views in the other direction and already descending. On this side a bit more snow, powder was flying, pure joy. At Forchia turn towards Ravanca, lower jump a few brooks and here I am at the crossroads, from there to the car a short bit.

Still buzzing with joy today, such a beautiful path up from Martinji Las. Much more open than the one from Ravanca, scenic, also plenty of sun which is nice in winter, and the wilderness here is different, no markings, signposts or the like, those green circles here and there above the building are easily overlooked. Can't wait for repeats, same up, for down I'll find something new. nasmeh

So it happened that I ended where I started. That is, first and last ascent of the year on Cima Tulsti. Not to be copy/paste, today up and down via normale, as I fondly call the path from Ravanca, Martinji Las next year again. Day sunny and warm, path without special features, views divine, solitude pleasant, no critters anywhere, probably prepping in dens for New Year's bash till morning hours velik nasmeh

On Saturday we parked at the bridge in Tig. We headed towards Bila and further towards Ravanca, then along the Lipa Path to Solbica. In Ladina we took path 643, which gently ascends towards the ricovero Igor Crasso. There was surprisingly little snow given the altitude, the weather was perfect and the views fantastic. After a snack and enjoying the views we started descending towards Pusti Gozd on path 632. Lower down at the fork we switched to 631, which brought us below Cima Tulsti. At the summit we basked in the afternoon sun. We descended to Ravanca, with some road still to the starting point.
It was a beautiful and warm day, spring has already returned to Resia.
