The post is probably a bit outdated regarding current weather, as Thursday and Friday were completely different from yesterday on descent to the valley, but anyway... We started at Savica on Thursday morning and climbed via Komarča. It was quite wet, as it rained the previous day. From Black Lake onwards (some brave ones even dipped in cold water there) along Lopučniška valley we had to be careful, rocks wet and muddy. At Seven Lakes already some people, mostly foreigners. Original plan was to cross Tičarice and Zelnarice, but fog was hanging over summits, so we chose valley variant. Nice marmot rewards us with posing near Ledvička... At Green Lake we turn right towards Hribarice and since fog clears, we head over Kanjavec to Dolič. On ascent to summit marks faded and hard to follow, so a bit by feel. Excellently newly marked on the other side to Dolič... where we overnight. Hut full of people. Morning clear, we wait for one of last helicopter deliveries and instead of summit head towards Trenta to junction for Kanjavec ledges. Path for gourmets, offering superb views... on ledge we chase away king with big horns - no slip for him Path really narrow in places, sometimes need to bend, via ferrata gear carried unnecessarily, as cables only at two spots. They say no headache from summit Descent on scree steep path to Prehodavci spiced by black slug, first time I saw one. First was ca 3cm, good didn't step on it Some gentians still blooming. Since day still perfect, decide to cross Lepo Špičje too... again views to fall into, path interesting, bit exposed, end 2 cables on descent from Veliko Špičje. Caution needed whole way, especially descent on very steep grass. Since Saturday forecast rainy, continued to Hut under Bogatin. This one drags like spring snake... bit down, bit up... left right through impenetrable forest, at moments feel like walking in circle Finally spot cute hut that served as hospital in WWI. Locals preparing memorial mass for 100th anniversary of war end. If you don't know, they have best struklji in world !!! Weather spoiled it, rain started before 8am, so didn't wait for mass. On descent met priest, who probably prayed too little previous day for nice weather or prayed for rain so no need to go up Driving by Bohinj lake home, pouring like from bucket, but memory superb tour, new acquaintances and friendly staff of all four huts...
