Hello!
Before the forecasted weather deterioration I walked the circular trail described below.
I started from the doorstep at 0830 local time. In backpack: small hand saw, machete, pruning shears, of course drinking water and some bars. First along the road to the forest road and along it towards Šojčeše. I wanted to check the old connecting path leading from Podmelin in MR to Šojčeše, Polane and further to Žgani Peči, Slani Vodi in Gorenja Trebuša. The path is almost impassable after the last ice storm. With a little clearing it was possible to squeeze through fallen trees. I reached the gravel road and headed to Razazije. I went first past the Pod Robom homestead. The residential house is in ruins, the barn still stands and is well preserved. A few years ago I talked with Juže Šojčer, among other things, when I said how nice it is here, he replied that only ghosts haunt here now, so empty is Gorenja Trebuša now. Then I continued towards Razazije. Past Pr'Martin, Pr'Felc and Pr'Francetu, then to the right bank along the mowed meadow. At Pr'Feliks I stopped and chatted a bit and asked for the path to Katlar on the Vojsko plateau, the lady told me where to go and I really found the footpath trace. I tackled the steepness through the dense forest. Along the path there is also a water catchment that seems to work. After an hour of walking I came out of the forest to Ravan, past Bančina to the asphalt road Vojsko - Mrzla rupa. A few more minutes then around and home. Next time, when I go the same path, I must take not machete and saw but motorbike hihihi.
