Commenting in the conditions section and under photos

I won't write at great length, I also struggled with it at the beginning on this portal/forum and wrote some nonsense, but you understand, I was a beginner, I actually had no idea about tours, but now so much has been written that there's almost no need to ask anything.
The hribi.net portal is a great website, but the current conditions section personally bothers me because some of you write under photos, here I go up, snapshot, rest will be here, isn't it nice, ...etc and in the background there are unknown mountains on the photos that probably interest many WHICH ARE THEY?
If you add a photo where some mountain, alpine pasture, hill is visible, it would be good if you write what can be seen in the photo.
This is not necessary at all

To conclude, it would be good to post useful information about conditions, OFF responses let Tadej delete them as he sees fit, various questions can also be directed to ZS users.
I myself opened some completely stupid topics, then later asked Tadej to delete them, but he decided to keep the topics.

Judge for yourselves.

Ah, come on, "mountain lover". For those who don't know, you don't know what's in the picture, endless listing won't bring anything either, least of all knowledge about views from mountains. You'll turn around and again won't know where you are. Or look at the hill from the other side and it will be dark again.

Kilometers and experience, and walk around with an open mind. That's it.

If you don't know, then don't write.

Interesting, such comments don't bother me. If everyone wrote only what's on the photos and nothing else, the forum would become too sterile. A little interaction between users doesn't hurt at all mežikanje

If someone is interested in what's on a specific photo, they still have the option to ask. A kind word finds a kind place, or how do they say mežikanje

Almost none of my posts go by without someone "butting in" about this or that. And especially those who don't know much about mountains, don't know them and don't stick their nose out all winter, in summer they stroll on hillocks like Golovec and Rožnik. Congratulations and praise please everyone, but only to a certain extent, when someone starts exaggerating it becomes all tasteless. Anyway, back to the topic.
Photos are just a supplement to the DESCRIPTION, often more eloquent than the description itself, as they show the conditions "live" as they were at that place then. Listing mountain names on some panoramic photo is useless, but if it's an isolated mountain, peak, notch, or other curiosity along the path, the name is always written, which tells something to some, nothing to others because they've never been there and never will. Of course, I believe many would also like address and phone of the person with me under some photo, and maybe the size of the backpack and suchmežikanje

Ah yes, mountain lover, if everyone only posted photos where we know the peaks, the site would soon be without them. There's no problem if after posting you ask the forum guy what a certain photo is. If he knows, he'll surely answer or add some comment under the photo, I'm sure.

Although the question is how many peaks you would remember and recognize if e.g. 10-15 peaks visible on the photo were listed. You take a map and stroll a bit with your finger and it's done. Or sometimes "use" some "guide".
Photos and comments under them are, as Igor wrote, a supplement to the written part and for some authors where in the written part it only says "wonderful sunny, no wind", the photos say more about conditions (usually).

Anyway, what to delete, the admin will decide himself, if someone praises someone for a tour, it's rather good, since there's a lack of it. Personally, I prefer it to be "sincere ass-kissing" for a good tour rather than sincere ass-kissing because someone was praised.

Otherwise, mountain lover, sometimes I looove to be a bit naughty. Click HERE, and you'll see where my naughtiness is raging today (I don't doubt you'll figure out among which sinners we are). mežikanje

Don't misunderstand me, Igor, it wasn't aimed at you, but I took the Mangart thread for explanation.

@potepinka: If 7-10 peaks are visible on the photo then it's pointless to write which is which peak.

Also there and here some comment, nice photos are not too much, but it probably bothers everyone if there are 3-4-5 and more comments under a photo in the sense of congratulations, the point of this portal is to share useful tips among all...

@mountain lover

If someone achieves something that I wouldn't even in dreams, I'll congratulate him for it, because that's what I think from the heart.
And best regards

Mountain lover,
becomes the forum policeman.

Even if he doesn't know,
he always adds something to someone,
so that the forum runs smoothly.

Couldn't help it with the newly opened threadsmile
PS: If there has to be a comment about conditions: By the sea it's blowing...strongly

Ehh, I thought you'd rate your own descriptions tongue big Mine really don't need it, because they are a matter of momentary inspiration and mood at the moment I write them (if I even feel like it) and I'll stick to that way for now. Of course, I could make up and name peaks I don't know and then experts would "jump on me" and in the end we'd arrive at the right answers together. Oh yes, that's how one could learn something new. big

And one question: mountain lover, if 15 people praised your done tour after posting, would it seem too much to you? Would you with light heart delete 10 praise entries because the limit is 5?

Who will do the selection of which 5 can write praise for the tour, let them write it? Come on don't shit yourself! Otiv wrote nicely that if he feels it he'll write and he's probably not the only one. Some will write on forum, others on zs, the third ones will comment and admire over morning coffee... fourth will...

Finally: on the website in the list of mountains, almost every mountain lists what can be seen from it. Next to it are photos of the peak from several sides. If one combines a bit with posts in current conditions, one can quite well figure out what can be seen from where and how a peak looks from several profiles.

This topic doesn't really interest me, but again a phenomenon is noticeable that's common on other much less cultured forums, but it shouldn't be on so-called cultured ones.

Namely, as soon as someone touches a slightly more unusual topic, criticizes something (like a hut e.g. mežikanje ) or just says something 'wrong', he has to be ridiculed and nailed right away.
