I read that the COMMON ROCKROSE has bloomed in the area of Veliki Javornik and Bohor, apparently this is the only natural habitat of this endangered plant in Slovenia. I'm interested if anyone knows where this little flower grows - is it found throughout the Bohor area, or only in certain places? thanks and best regards

I have no doubt at all that I would find it. I was just interested if it grows in a precisely limited spot - like e.g. the pasque flower on Boč. Since I don't live right near Bohor, I can't go there often - today rainy weather prevented me. Monter thanks anyway for the encouragement. lp sonja

In spring 2006 my dear and I visited Bohor. We saw those flowers right on the summit, about 30-50m south of [url=http://francb.moj-album.com/album/5767762/?os=7948073]the summit marker[/url], where the cache is.

generation 13 For several years I've been observing rockroses on Bohor and it's really unique only on Bohor. You find it along the path to Javornik and in the direction of Lisce when the snowdrops - crocuses bloom and take care not to step on it
