Confluence of Sava Bohinjka and Sava Dolinka at Lancovo. Yesterday's weather allowed for a short trip and we set off with Ira to explore a bit. The path through the forest is currently quite muddy. There are many possible approaches to it... nasmeh

Given your exploratory spirit I strongly recommend the fishing path that starts from Fux bridge on the right bank of Sava looking downstream and crosses the bridge at Lancovo and descends on the left bank to the start. Highly recommend. The path is really a gem.

Majdag, also because people are not critical in choosing sources, a mistake like the one described by prof. Snoj can occur. Additional basis for further spread is also your contribution. And someone searching for sources on the existence of this phrase will be all the more mistakenly convinced that they found additional proof for the existence of this greeting. Also names of peaks and individual areas in the mountains are often written differently than locals call them.

Of course it does.
Like the records of names on maps after WW2 often reflect poor or superficial professional work of geographers, which together with the political interest of that time distorted the true "picture" of the toponymy of Slovenian mountains in many places - so today political interest and contributions of "wannabe" investigative journalists "with initials" are reflected in such and similar smudges...
