 On Sunday, 2.1.2011 in the area around Lenart, specifically to Komarnik Lake between Lenart and the Hrastovec settlement by the Black Wood forest. The lake and its surroundings are a natural habitat of numerous plant and animal species...By it there are two educational trails, which are now connected into one trail - Franck's and Agata's trail. Franck's trail goes around the lake, while Agata's trail runs from the lake towards the Hrastovec settlement and a shorter section towards the Black Cross above the lake. An hour and a half of pleasant walking with light snowfall by the otherwise frozen lake and its surroundings. Little elevation gain, but such trails are nice for a change...Of course, in the other three seasons the trail is definitely more interesting due to happenings around and on the lake.

On a sunny afternoon with my wife a light walk on Franck's & Agata's trails by Lake Komarnik and Pesnica river. After nine, ten foggy days, hoarfrost and similar stuff of previous days, dry trails and rustle of fallen leaves were a nice autumn response...Before visiting Komarnik Lake area still a jump to nearby Zavrh above Voličina and view of place where general Maister spent quite some time.

At this time lake and surroundings teem with life at every step, literally. Many times after work I walk around the lake, shame that highway and also R road so close, because noise from it doesn't subside even for a moment, although somewhat distant it's annoying for me.
