Črno jezero on Pohorje (1197m)

Yesterday I set off on the path that starts in Oplotnica to Black Lake on Pohorje. The weather was wonderful; the path is very scenic and dry to the Three Kings. From here onwards to Black Lake there is still quite a lot of snow, but it is melting rapidly. The lake surface is still covered with ice, but it is still really beautiful, and it's no wonder that they call it the pearl of Pohorje.

Beautiful Sunday lured us to Oplotnica, so not always KSA and Julijci. Three Kings-Black Lake-Osankarica-Hut on Pesek-Jurgovo and back to Oplotnica. Nice long circular path. Amounts to an incredible 40 km.

Today, as a family, armed with umbrellas, along the path Three Kings - Black Lake - Lodge on Osankarica.
A smaller shower caught us just before the Lodge on Osankarica; when it poured, we returned back along the road.

Yesterday through Bistrski Vintgar to Three Kings and further to Black Lake. Weather fantastic, path normally passable. From Močnik onwards there could be some signposts at junctions and more markers on the path.

Some impressions from yesterday's trip: Oplotnica - St. Three Kings - Black Lake - Osankarica - Black Lake - Oplotnica.
In the upper part there were a few centimeters of new snow yesterday; otherwise, the path is normally passable.

Today in the coolness of Pohorje forests on path Šumik - Black Lake, there along stream Črnava, back on marked path.
On the path itself we were alone, at the lake many people; surprise at the lake when daughter meets mom from the other end of our homeland. mežikanje

Today we cooled off again in Pohorje forests. We park at Šumik and immediately turn left on cart track to the junction with the road under Matevžev vrh, which then joins the road Šumik - Osankarica and further along stream Črnava to Black Lake already on the known path. We continue to Osankarica and further to the site of the last battle of the Pohorje battalion and then back on the marked path to Šumik and the loop is closed. mežikanje

Except on the path Black Lake - Osankarica, where there were many people, we walked in solitude; by the water it was nicely cool, at Šumik all picnic spots occupied. jezik
