What pictures! Did you go the same path back too or forward to marked path Vrata-7J?

This is actually a story of failed ascent to Plaški Vogel. Debeli Lašt thus became collateral damage of already nice day! Started at Savica, drank coffee at 7J and continued on path to Veliki Špič. Below Brda then looked for passages and watched safe steps, because terrain extremely suitable for sprain or leg break. Between Debeli Lašt and Brda lost lots of time searching passages, bypassed Brda ok, but already 6 hours walking behind me, estimate needed at least another 1.5 hours even ideal scenario, so turned back, wandered bit on Debeli Lašt, studied terrain for retry on Plaški Vogel. Underestimated this tour, terrain tough, tour needs to be done without unnecessary stops, lesson for next time.

Maks, since you want Plaški Vogel so badly, I suggest you go from 7j along the marked path to the top of Veliko Špičje. From there continue along the ridge westwards (off-trail - max II) and at the suitable spot descend about 150 height meters, you'll end up under Vrh Labrja and climb to your peak. Return via Za dolino and under Brdi find the marked path again. It's long and requires 100% weather. Good luck!

It's nicest here in spring, when the snow is nicely settled and the little sun is already warming a bit, and you wander on touring skis across white expanses. Two-day tour with sleeping in the winter bivouac at 7J, visit all Lašts and Brds, of course also Veliki Grad, on the way to Travnik you "by the way" also hike up to Plaski Vogel on foot
