The fog in Planina Laz didn't put us in much of a good mood  to continue towards Lazovški preval and further to Debeli vrh. Below the saddle, where the path branches off to Debeli vrh, signs of clearing began to appear.
Above 2000m we "broke through" the fog boundary and in better mood  continued to Debeli vrh. Already about 100 vertical meters before the false summit we turned west into the valley which nicely led us to the top. This way we also avoided the annoying notch on the false summit.
Nothing tempted us to return to the foggy valley, so we decided to descend to the north side of Debeli vrh and head towards Vršaki. The descent is more tedious than the ascent from the south side. After the descent we went around the first rocky hill on the east side, then continued along the ridge to the foot of Vršaki. No path, but plenty of cairns. Otherwise, just stick to the ridge.
The western or first peak of Vršaki is the highest. The approach is not difficult, continuing along the Vršaki ridge even less so. Between peaks we lose only little height.
Need to watch on descent from the last (western) Vršak. For a while we walk on the south side of this fairly long mountain, then cairns reliably lead us to the west side towards the saddle or. Globoka Konta. Last part we seek passages between small screes and rocky ledges, steadily losing height.
Nearest return to Planina Laz would run from here through Globoka Konta valley. Unfortunately we have bad experiences with this path from a few years ago, so we took a more reliable variant, over Vrata saddle and then along the valley behind Kopica to Dedno polje.
Between Debeli vrh, Vršaki and traversing them we walk mostly off-trail. Hardly meet people here, but definitely some chamois or ptarmigan. In fog the tour is of course unfeasible.
