Along the marked path, which I left a bit higher up and took a shortcut, steep to the marked path. Met quite a few hikers. Somewhere above the hut turned right onto a hunting trail that leads to the hunting hut, there soon turned right again. Barely visible trail gets lost, no cairns, higher up it's easy to get off track and becomes pathless. Went my own way and after quite strenuous terrain without climbing reached Debeljak. Mists were racing to and fro, but it soon cleared enough that views appeared. Stayed at the top for quite some time and admired mountains, lake, mists. After XX time checked the descent, through the middle very steep terrain to easier terrain. Descended via grassy gully to the lake and there made another longer break. Descended to Lepena. Started really late around 11 o'clock, but gotta get back already for safety both in the hills and on the road. Returned via Kobarid-Baška grapa and Davča to Lučin area, spent 2.45 hours on that route. Road more or less wet.

Do you have any more pictures of the hut area? I mean the windthrow.

Individual broken and uprooted spruces are visible along the path from the snow meter onwards. But when you look towards the hut from the path at the spot right of the woodshed you see on pic 1, in the gully below you towards the hut almost everything is windthrown and scattered criss-cross. Right at the hut itself (reachable only via path from the pasture) it doesn't look like anything happened. We passed by Thursday, met a flock of sheep they were moving away from wolves from the pasture, attack consequences still visible (carcasses with bitten necks).
