Debeljak and Veliki Lemež (eastern ridge)

On the occasion of this year's 100th anniversary of the Soča Front, Janez and I completed a very demanding eastern ascent to Veliki Lemež, which I dedicate to my grandfather Jovan, a soldier in some unnecessary bloody war along the Soča River and the ridges above it. Under the command of the supreme commander of the Soča Front, Svetozar Borojević, the first and only non-German field marshal in the Austro-Hungarian armed forces. Also the first from this unfortunate Balkans. Unfortunately in the interest of the Austro-Hungarian colonial monarchy. More about the ascent in pictures and comments on the link below, for mountaineers who would like to repeat it. The eastern ascent to Debeljak and Veliki Lemež has not yet been published on this portal. So I hope no one will accuse me again, like last time '@pohodnik11' for the ridge in Karavanke, that I'm 'padding' this forum and making it unreadable. Although I couldn't find my own topic on the ridge crossing on it. https://picasaweb.google.com/113805105178377351223/DebeljakInVelikiLemezVzhodniGreben1011201503 Whoever wants can read some emotional description of the history of the unnecessary bloody war on the second link below in the Kolovrat – Path of Peace album, which I'm only now publishing on this portal on the 100th anniversary of the Soča Front. https://picasaweb.google.com/113805105178377351223/KolovratPotMiru2728042012

That's why there's Lemež and I really don't see the reason why every approach needs to be described separately. Just write that the approach was via the eastern or whichever ridge, also via the southern slope or northern path, or through scree. The summit is the summit and the one interested will read all contributions and find what interests him.

The guy does excellent tours, some can't stomach it, so they split hairs! How many topics does Rjavina have? Did anyone complain? Excellent Jovan!!!

Ah, come on (that's Igor Zlodej), there are many of us mountain lovers who will never experience all the beauties they offer us. And I'm one of them. That's why I'm happy for every description of a hiked path (regardless of such or other name), and if there are top-notch pictures with it, we also get some crumbs of joy and our eyes rest. That's why the forum is as it is and that's why many like to visit it. Have a nice day!

Jovan, this is a very nice ridge story of yours, something special as always, with exceptional photos. The new topic title doesn't bother at all, since Debeljak summit is not yet open under current conditions, and the connection to the ridge anyway not. Such a tour definitely deserves its name!

Regarding opening new topics, I already gave my opinion on this portal once. This time I won't comment anything.

Does anyone know how demanding the approach is from the direction of this saddle (in the picture - link: https://www.hribi.net/slika.asp?razmerekomentar=539460), which is on the east side of V. Lemež? (I would skip the crossing from Debeljak; I'm only interested in the last part from the saddle, what difficulty it presents.) V. Lemež

Thanks, Janez, for the clear answer to the posed question. Those routes that you described up and then "south" down I have already done, mountain lover - so the explanation of the posed one is primarily important to me (and not so much "commenting" on anything else - because I have already asked questions, but didn't get the desired response, but more "trash". No hard feelings.)

@di: You're right, I added it just as an idea, otherwise some of you will later ask for those "trash" and no one will help you...stick to the markings and that's it
