Current conditions – highway towards Debenji vrh
The nicest part of the walking path to Stari grad (Osterberg) is destroyed, running along the eastern slope of the hill. I feel that Debenji vrh, especially from the Besnica valley (Podgrada), has become a testing ground for heavy machinery, which could incidentally be sent to help people in flooded areas. Who can issue a permit for such digging?! Even last year's fire on kuclju didn't cause such irreparable damage.

After Nika Prevc's victory I climbed to the local hill. Roads and paths wet and muddy, slippery here and there. Met only a few hikers. On the upper slope stepped on a newer road track where erosion traces are already visible and edges slowly giving way and collapsing. On and by the pond swans and ducks.

In a cold sunny morning I climbed to Debni Peak. Numerous birds found their paradise on flooded meadows. Roads and paths normally passable, only mud in some places. Views under power line excellent, from tower impaired by tall trees.
