Yesterday's visit to Divje Babe from Reka. Path locally muddy and slippery, otherwise nicely maintained and secured.

If at Divje Babe, you continue on the trail towards the valley, you also reach the starting point at Reka. No need to go back to St. Ivan. An even better option is to ascend past Divje Babe from Reka to St. Ivan and descend via the mulatiera.
If this circular tour is too little, visit also Poličanka and Kozarska Grapa. These two are on the opposite bank of the Idrijca. From St. Ivan, the Poličanka waterfalls are nicely visible. Recommended ascent via Poličanka gully and descent via Kozarska gully. For both circular paths, you can leave the car in the same parking area.

@črow, we saw that trail that continues from the caves towards the valley, but what, since we didn't know if we'd reach the starting point or not. Well, now we knownasmeh Thanks for the info, best regards.

Went on the circular from Reka. Nice, nothing more.

The church itself or surroundings is one of the strongest energy points in Slovenia. The energy is felt even down at the cave.

ŠEBRELJE - ST. IVAN - DIVJE BABE

Yesterday wasn't the best day, but the Šebrelje Plateau still excited us. So we have one more reason to revisit it, then in some other variant.

From Reka we ascended the nice, renovated mulatiera, which in the upper part winds under rocky walls and continued at the junction towards Šebrelje. On the return, we went to the church of St. Ivan, which really stands in an idyllic spot. We missed the distant and clearer views, but we felt those really good energies spreading there. Just as we wanted to leave this beautiful place, the sun broke through the clouds and the little church glowed in its whiteness. We descended another path, namely to Divje Babe, and were amazed by the steepness, where we also encountered icy patches. A villager had already warned us about that, but with caution it went. We continued the descent on the path mentioned by "črow" and thus descended back to the parking lot via the circular path. Really well-conceived path!
