The mysterious DOBLAREC gorge with its pools, waterfalls and gorges is quite unknown to a wider circle of people and is not marked at all. Sparsely populated banks in this area with individual houses are also known for old settlers, about whom Pavel Medvešček has written extensively. Doblarec is the right tributary of the Soča River, which flows out (sometimes sinks earlier) at the Doblar hydroelectric power plant. We did a circular tour, a bit through the gorge, a bit above it, or along the path between abandoned homesteads. We didn't wade in the water, although I watched a video exactly about that and jumps into the pools there. That must be the real experience, but for first info about the gorge, our walk there was quite enough . Total 15 km walked, 500 m elevation gain.

Exceptionally beautiful depiction of the path we walked together. Everything rustles, flows, the freshness of spring greenery soothes. Beautiful path in beautiful, the most beautiful season.

Ločanka, do you perhaps have a GPX of the path you walked?
