Yesterday with Rexi (my dog) we did a nice circular trip, starting from Rogarjev Rovt to Hr. planina and Hruški Vrh, from there to Austria to Kleiner Frauenkogel (Koprivnjak), and at the end also to Dovška Baba and back to the start. Half- or even full-day tour, which I recommend if you're heading these days to this (our) end of the Karavanks!
Larches are already getting nice golden-yellow color, the sun at midday still pleasantly warms, in this part of the Karavanks currently mainly peaceful calm prevails.

Hi Heinz, how much time did you take for this path and did you have "hellish" pace. Your description gave me an idea where to go among the larches, so not too crowded. Thanks for the reply and happy trails on all paths.

No "hellish" pace at all, quite the opposite, I took time for lots of photos, because I planned to put together two path descriptions (and one summit) for this portal. All together half a day i.e. 5.6 - max. 7 hours of walking, certainly not any hurried walking.
Rogarjev Rovt is in this regard quite a suitable starting point.

Up there today: sunny, warm, no wind, calm, with some visitors. Fog also on the Austrian side.

...Hruščanska planina, Hruški vrh, Dovška Baba, Koprivnjak, Klek...
.. Summits above Hruščanska planina were only ours today. Path through Plavški Rovt on asphalt is ok, then it's quite "bumpy". Daisies on meadows already wilted. Along the path over summits still some flowers, but not much. Today we did a bit longer tour. From Koprivnjak we returned to Hruški vrh. Descended to saddle Rožca and climbed also to Klek. Julijci were all the time covered in mist. Then we went past Mokotova hut and to the hut on Hruščanska planina. We made quite a nice circular path. Avto-vikend still stands. Livestock already grazes on all pastures, paths are nice and dry nasmeh

- Nice hayrack, as if someone had drawn it

- On the path Očak was seen most beautifully

- The cross on Koprivnjak is already visible

Descent to Rožca saddle and ascent to Klek

Yesterday there was little time, so only trip Ravne - Dovška Baba - Hruški vrh and back to Ravne. Excellent views towards Julijci!!! Very nice trip, suitable for families!

Today I finally decided to go to Dovška Baba. Went from Ravne on foot along the road and at that bend already past the barrier turned onto the marked steep path to planina Dovška Rožca. The hut is of course already closed. Then direct to Dovška Baba. From there along the ridge also to Hruški vrh. From Hruški vrh a bit to the Austrian side to Koprivnjak. Back along the marked path to the ridge and then under the ridge across hayfields back to the hut. From the hut along the concreted path back to Ravne. Weather was nice, though occasionally very windy - lots of hikers.

In Ravne a hand-written signpost directs us to the right path.

Triglav this year I see almost on all my hikes.

Here from the road turn onto the steep marked path straight to Dovška Rožca pasture.

Through the grasses to Dovška Baba summit.

This is also a memorial mountaineering trail.

Right on the bench next to the summit is a box with a book for entries and a stamp.

From Hruški vrh also to the Austrian side to Koprivnjak-Kleiner Frauenkogel-1754m.

This is what the summit with the large cross looks like.

From the ridge back along the slope to the planšarija.

They have even concreted the path to the planšarija.

Along the path there is even a little spring with clear water.

The last little female marmot - perhaps a spring one.

Today from Rogarjev Rovt over Hruški vrh to Koprivnjak. Path wet, fog heavy, no more livestock on pastures. Skipped Dovška Baba, because on the way back on the ridge nothing was visible at all. Good that I was early, otherwise I'd get lost mežikanje

Yesterday in nice sunny weather, nice tour (Ravne-Baba-Klek-Hruški vrh-Koprivnjak), offering beautiful views, spring-like temperature, few visitors, except Baba had quite a few. Path is entirely dry. Recommend. Nice regards

Today from home along the trim path to Hrušica and further up towards Hruščanska planina and even to Rožca. Up to Rogarjev rovt it's dry, further on more and more snow, which was just right frozen to walk nicely on.. weather nice sunny and quite warm nasmeh

on the border ridge very windy. If coming from or returning to Hrušica, a bit below Rogarjev rovt new large clearing where path is lost or buried with branches

Today with better half on circular path Ravne - Dovška Baba - Koprivnjak - Hruški vrh - Rožca - Hruška planina - Ravne.
Some fallen trees on path towards Pl. Dovška Rožca, otherwise entire path normally passable. Today not hot, as wind chased clouds all the time. jezik

Today from Hrušica to Hruška planina, path ok, towards Rogarjev rovt muddy in some places. On return some exploring Dobršnik gorge

After shift from Hrušica to Hruška planina, path at start from Hrušica churned for few minutes walk due to logging and wood drag, then fine. Snow appears bit before Rogarjev rovt on path. From rovt path dry for a while, then snow to planina. Nicely warm, snow wet and melts fast. Lp

Yesterday to Dovška Baba 1891m., beautiful circular tour. Start above Dovje village past pl.Rožca to top Dovška Baba wonderful views all directions, then ridge (snow patches nicely passable no crampons) to Hruški vrh 1776m., saddle under Klek 1753m. past Matkova hut to Planšarska koča on Hruška planina, descend to Rogarjev rovt nice gravel road to start.
