Under the leadership of an excellent organizer and guide, 50 participants gathered on the 19th, mainly female hikers and a few male hikers. The weather from 22.6. to 6.7. was excellent. There are many marked paths around Božava. We climbed to Mala Gospo, to the village Dragove, otherwise marked but quite overgrown. The coastal path to Božava is beautiful, total 3 hours easy walking. The second is the marked path from Božava to Solin and to Sakarun bay, 1 hour 40 minutes marked, return option by little train, which comes in handy in the heat. Third path from Božava to Veli Rat, to the town 2 hours 20 minutes, to the lighthouse less than 4 hours one way...Our guide organized three more boat trips for us. First to Iž with ascent to Korinjak, good 200 elevation meters, which is not special height, under scorching sun and eight crosses, we need to congratulate all female hikers...Two and a half hours by boat to Olib, walk on the island, another half hour ride and visit Silba, climb to tower and swimming. Third boat trip to Molat island, again walk on the island, some had special transport...A little more ride to Ist, ascent to little church, to viewpoint where we saw from Velebit, Pag, Olib, Silba, all the way to Lošinj. Really lots of experiences in 14 days, walking, swimming and resting.Special experience was watching dolphins playing on the way from Iž to Sali...thanks to the guide for everything she did for us...

After cancellation in 2020, Anica's team gathered in Božava for the twentieth time. Some regulars, others new, all spent two wonderful weeks of resting, swimming, SUPing, socializing and hiking. The team was diverse, from 11 to 89 years old, all super. Our young ones confirm that too, who wanted to go on vacation with "pensioners" again. Everything excellently organized, weather great, food excellent, all praise to the Lavanda hotel team in Božava too. Besides wandering local paths on Dugi Otok, we visited Korinjak on Iž, Sali on Dugi Otok. Second boat trip was Molat and Ist, ascent to Straža, stop in Veli Rat. Third time we visited Rivanj, Sestrunj and Zverinac...interesting, everything closed, shops and taverns, one open but occupied, so we hurried back to our bay. Interesting change in the famous Sakarun bay, all abandoned, nothing cleaned, snack bar empty, one sailboat....We also celebrated 20th hiking anniversary and Klarin's 11th birthday. Anja and Aljaž prepared a great seaside concert for us. Thanks Anica for the wonderful vacation, that's the one we always want.

Corona blew away both Dugi Otok variants last year, this year both succeeded. Beginning of summer Božava, end of August Sali. Guide Stane is excellent, of course, since he has been organizing it since 1983... Stay in Sali allows wandering south, to Kornati, Telašćica, Žut. First day by boat past Mana island, to Kornat island, highest peak Metlina 237m, views beautiful, swimming. Lunch in Suha Puntica, then to Lavarnaka, unforgettable swimming in Lojena, water warm, clear, blue... Second boat trip to Iž, jump to Korinjak and visit and swimming in Savar place on Dugi Otok. Return past Krknata. Third day wandering on Dugi Otok, olive grove view, jump to peak and view to Telašćica. Next day visit Zaglava, all closed, but coastal path to Sali now well passable. Third time by boat to Telašćica, right under cliffs, under salt lake Mir. Super path above cliffs, swimming at buoys or lake. After lunch swimming in secret bay of Dugi Otok. Fourth boat trip past Lavdar island to Žut island, jump to second highest peak, view over Žutski Channel to Kornati and other side to Pašman. Only when returning from Žut we got rain, but sea calm, other days weather beautiful, sea warm. Organization, food, company, experiences, all super.... thanks everyone, guide especially.

Thanks to the fearless organizer Anica, we were 21st time on Dugi Otok this year. There were 52 of us, some first time, others many times, always nice. We spent wonderful 14 days in Božava in hotel Lavanda. We repeated some tours, some were new. On Dugi Otok we visited Sakarun bay, for me super warm water, this year more sailboats and yachts. During our visit two locals were closed, one removed, no umbrellas, little train didn't run... But new marked paths, also cleaned. Also path from Mala to Vela Gospa is arranged and passable towards Dragove village. On path from Solin to Sakarun we saw a snake. This time we saw dolphins three times, real pleasure to watch them. Matevž found shark head too... This time we visited Pašman and Kukljica on Ugljan. On the boat Marin "Pavarotti" entertained us. Again we were on Korinjak on Iž and on Rava world center. Due to construction in Sali, our confectioner Izot we didn't visit this time. With boat we were on Molat and Ist. We went to Straža, views super. On Ist we stopped by gallery and inn "Lako ćemo...". When returning from Ist, we stopped at Veli Rat too, some at lighthouse, others swam. Besides hiking, swimming, socializing and lounging, we managed to meet few more times on shore for evening chat. Also this time we spent great, active holidays in divine Božava. Weather nice all time, only end bura, but we returned safely with speedboat and our bus. Good bunch, thanks to all and leader, energetic Anica, who has everything under control... We are already arranged for next year.

Again we spent two unforgettable weeks with Anica on Dugi Otok in Božava. Weather was excellent last week of June and first of July, relaxing air temps up to 28 degrees, sea up to 25. Really super compared to temps now... Sea clean, everything went as agreed. This year 59 of us, all ladies except five gentlemen, with us cute dog Pablo too. Also this time in hotel Lavanda right by sea, food good. Nature just gorgeous. Some swim by hotel, others get lost in our bays. We did some hikes, each according to abilities. Visited Mala Gospa, Dragove, Sakarun, again excursion to Olib and Silba, Iž and ascent to Korinjak, Sali. On way to Sali saw six dolphins, unforgettable. Thanks Luka for discovering new beach, insanely beautiful, let it stay hidden... Some went to Telašćica too. Swam already at 6.30 and half, then continued, some of us few hours daily in water. Unforgettable holidays on Dugi Otok, thanks to leader Anica, captain Igor with team and all in hotel Lavanda and great participants.... happy till next year.

Again returned from Dugi Otok, unforgettable. Two weeks under leadership of organizer Anica. Weather gorgeous, last week June and first July somewhat less hot on island than in Ljubljana, water 23-25 degrees. This time 66 of us, all very happy and grateful to leader for all work. Our special bus to Zadar, our new boat Dalmatinka from Zadar to Dugi Otok, right to hotel. Our rooms always waiting, our secret spots under pines too. Water wonderful, morning swim before breakfast great. In Lavanda pamper us three times daily with good food. Nature on Dugi Otok beautiful, in our Božava small village full options for walks to Sakarun, Gospa, Dragove, Veli Rat. This time boat excursion to Ist, Molat, Iž, visited Sali. Company mostly girls 50 to 90 great, swam a lot (me 40 hours in water....), chatted too, 80 year old succeeded nicely, farewell gathering too. Hikes to small peaks Korinjak, Gospa... adapted to abilities. Thanks all and happy next year.

Another unforgettable week on Long Island, end of August in Sali, led by longtime mountaineer guide Stane. Excellent company, 50 hikers, age 50 plus except four exceptions. Great Lars's young family, young Urška, others experienced hikers, of course mostly female hikers. In one week besides strolling around Long Island, visited quite a few islands. On Long Island again enchanted by beauties of Telašćica, salt lake Mir, cliffs, Proversa channel, islet Tanjurič, lighthouse on Sestrice... On Long Island also olive grove view, walk to Zaglav by the sea, swimming in warm sea...
Visited several islands, Kornat with peak Metlina, Levarnaka where we swam. Passed by Mana. And hop to Bokolj on Pašman, of course ice cream in Kukljica, swimming. Also Žut, view on Žut channel and Kornati wonderful. Weather nice, water warm about 24 degrees end of August. When we sailed to
Iž and hop to Korinjak, totally calm. Then turned towards Rava and captain warned of waves and our enjoyment on upper deck of Dalmatinka ended. But excellent captain and larger boat allowed safe return to Sali. Wonderful active week in beautiful nature and excellent company behind us, thanks to guide, co-guide, great roommates and old and new acquaintances, thanks...
