Eagle's Nest - Kehlstein (1834) - Germany

Kehlstein is located in Germany in Berchtesgaden National Park. Eagle's Nest is the hut on top, which was once Hitler's residence. He got it for his 50th birthday. We don't need to go on foot to the top. With a local bus we drive to the secret tunnel and then a few minutes by elevator.

7.9. Eagle's Nest, King's Lake, tourist town Berchtesgaden.. One-day trip with travel agency Alpetour. Special electric buses drive along the winding road to the large platform. Then you have to quickly walk through the beautiful tunnel and squeeze into the luxurious elevator that takes us to the top of the mountain. The crowd is huge. They have a very organized system so that everything works as it should. We had a great day and the views were wonderful. nasmeh
