Federe Waterfalls and Federa Lake (Lago de Federa)

Hike from the 2nd half of August 2023.
After marathon ascents on Tofane, a calmer hike suited well, luckily it was a bullseye.
Federe Waterfalls and the Federa Lake itself are wonderful.
It starts further ahead from the camp di Sotto, south of Cortina D'Ampezzo.
The waterfalls are a treat and there are quite a few of them. Further on is a hut by the lake and the lake itself is wonderful.
In short, a calm and beautiful hike.

For me, this lake is almost prettier than the much more praised and especially much more touristy Sorapis.
We went circular then.

It's very nice, there's even a half island and a boulder on it. You can easily climb the boulder and have a view over the surroundings.
I don't know Sorapis yet, this weekend going to Antelao and past the lake, we'll see.
