Fire above Bovec in the Rogla area under Plešivec

Yesterday afternoon around 16:00 lightning ignited a fire in the area below Rogla in the Kanin mountains. Today in the morning hours they started extinguishing the fire, with 1 helicopter from 15th HEB SV and firefighters from PGD Bovec participating. Unfortunately they were not successful, and the fire spread strongly during the day. More about it here:

Still smoldering. Yesterday smelled it up to a bit beyond Lopa, didn't spoil the enjoyment though.

On July 24th I checked the fire area and climbed to Plešivec via the hunting path. Some pics.
