For sale PLANIKA Triglav model hiking boots, size 46.5 or English size 11.5. Boots are new (bought them on Friday, July 10), wore them for one hour and found out that when walking downhill they press on toes from front (meaning too small for me), boots are really quality, I'm totally excited about them (recommend them to everyone), but too small for me. New ones cost in store 125-130 euros. So you get new boots for 25-30 less than in store. Really recommend purchase, you'll be grateful you bought such quality boots, believe me. Trying on boots possible in Škofja Loka or Ljubljana. DESCRIPTION color: brown upper material: cow nubuck lining: air-tex insole: Planika trekking - antibacterial sole: GU-PU Vibram 129P Here's a pic: http://www.shrani.si/f/1P/E5/1Yplr2sD/1/planika.jpg Call tel. 031/344-253

Down with Alpina!!! Alpina was good company until five years ago, now they import all from China and in Žiri just slap their name on! Verified!!! Last year I bought low trekking shoes from Alpina for 77 euros. After ten Lubniks they literally fell apart. Took them to a master who used to work for Ratitovec and even he disappointed me when he said what clunk they sold me. Up there it says Vibram sole, but in reality it is not at all! People, better buy Scarpa or anything else! No hard feelings!

urosl, can't help but join you in disappointment over Alpina. Last year invested 150 euros in their Vision boots, on 3rd tour almost lost soles. They glued them back but after 2 tours this year in rain they are about to fall apart or for trash... Sad, have to say after 20 years of satisfaction with their boots...

Don't know how I overlooked Planika-Alpina, but don't get how you can buy new Planika boots that hasn't been operating for years, just like Alpina markets their name! And once again, alpina sucks!!!

Planika still operates in Turnišče, where they already made hiking boots before.

Definitely no sense being "local patriot" and at any cost regardless of quality especially NO! I still have Planika "Lhotse" for summer which inevitably nears end of use though super satisfied with them - winters I bought last year from Italian firm Boreal "Latok" and can only say hats off - awesome boots. Now only haven't found anything suitable for replacement of summer boots - from Planika I'll really say goodbye with tears in eyes ...
