No other way than after work. I drive to Pietratagliata, then a further good 6 km towards Poccet pasture, where snow stops me. I continue on snowy road to pasture and higher partly on road, partly on trail to Jeluz shelter (closed), which is also a nice viewpoint. Snow is getting deeper (50-60 cm), larches prettier and prettier and night closing in. Since I know exactly when sun sets, I really hurry and make it to Škrbina just before 18.00. Montaž and Viš lit by evening sun, but just over 5 mins later sun sets behind Zuc dal Borom, take pics, then quick back to shelter, pasture and road to car, arrive in the dark. Nice, gotta return.
